“Religion is faith based upon evidence. On the other hand, you have science, which is faith based upon evidence.” -KSS
A common charge by the impudent atheist is that Christians, like sheep or mindless groupies, blindly follow their master. It follows, they charge, that Christians do not question their mythical religious dogma and proceed through this final stage of life as indoctrinated robots with little or no intellectual curiosity. This is plainly false as a generalized indictment, for Christian apologetics alone provides an intellectually vast field of sciences to understand and assimilate–all the while defending the faith. In reality, nothing could be more simple and less compelling than atheistic dogma: “there is no GOD.” Wow, that is brilliant! It can be neither proven nor disproven, so they are safe and secure in their anti-doctrine to cast challenges and aspersions.
It is easy to make an atheistic allegation and then for Christians to constantly play defense. There is nothing that they hold dear, so there is no comparable collateral for them to risk. So, let’s skim over a couple of concepts, beginning with the preposterous theory known as “Big Bang.”
Biogenesis is at the crux of the atheist’s flaw (all life comes from life and not matter), and no life has ever been observed that originates spontaneously–neither in “perfect” recreation lab settings, nor certainly in the hostility of space and primitive Earth. The Recapitulation Theory, that is, ontogeny recapitulates phylogeny was long since disproven, but it still appears in undergraduate and post-graduate textbooks as the only postulate used to support macro-evolution theory. The same goes for the theory of abiogenesis.
Even with all the technology available today, scientists cannot synthesize all the essential amino acids necessary for life. If any oxygen is introduced during that synthesis, the necessary reactions don’t take place. Simple organisms are MORE complex than our specialized cells, and all of this abiogenesis was not afforded the luxury of a 35th-Century lab; it was “supposed” to have occurred in the hostile volcanic purgatory that was early Earth. Right.
Evolution is part of GOD’s plan, whereas, the “Macro-Evolution” theory is an impossibility and an outright lie. You cannot have infinite regression of “uncaused” causation. At some past point was inception. And, that inception was divinely personal, atemporal and impossible to comprehend. GOD’s nature is quite literally not within our comprehension to grasp. The atheist position is–at a minimum–less plausible, and moreover, less scientific. It, too, is only a theory. But for mathematics and logic, “proofs” are not afforded to either the atheists nor the apologists of intelligent design.
So evolution and creationism are not mutually exclusive by any stretch of the imagination. And, the sooner more creationists embrace the evidence in the fossil record as GOD’s work, the sooner the atheists and scientific community are diffused from their twisted enjoyment of castigating people of faith.
But evolution here on Earth is not the only critical piece in the puzzle. I am not certain that life even began on Earth. God may have created Adam and Eve somewhere else. Time travel, aliens, foreign life forms?? We are visited all the time from extraterrestrial humanoids, so we cannot even begin to explain our origins by terrestrial archaeology alone. We cannot explain these mysteries nor the abundant paranormal aberrations, so we can do one of two things as people of faith: deny it or accept it as part of GOD’s plan.
In June 1936, Max Hahn and his wife Emma were on a walk beside a waterfall near London, Texas, when they noticed a rock with wood protruding from its core. They decided to take the oddity home and later cracked it open with a hammer and a chisel. What they found within shocked the archaeological and scientific community. Embedded in the rock was what appeared to be some type of ancient man-made hammer.
A team of archaeologists analyzed and dated it. The rock encasing the hammer was dated to more than 400 million years old. The hammer itself turned out to be more than 500 million years old. Additionally, a section of the wooden handle had begun the metamorphosis into coal. The hammer’s head, made of more than 96% iron, is far more pure than anything nature could have achieved without assistance from relatively modern smelting methods.

We are constantly evolving. Just since the turn of the last century, our average life expectancy has jumped by 30 years, and humans have become considerably taller. Ethnic differences were also certainly caused by thousands of years of living conditions in certain climates. Millions of years are impossible for us to comprehend, but major changes could certainly occur over that span. And, it was all by GOD’s hand.
Evolution by definition is not limited to a requirement of massive genetic permutations. It happens gradually over generations–and certainly external factors (such as nutrition and lifestyle) have EVERYTHING to do with these “evolving” changes.
Atheists are actually “anti-theists” these days. At some point, they got an agenda… It is not an agenda to further the cause of atheistic enlightenment; no, it is to denigrate the spiritually inclined. Atheist groups do not seek things like civil rights–they seek abolition of your freedom. They don’t want to erect a symbol to atheistic whatever; they seek to tear down yours. They cannot permit a nativity scene without erecting a sign that spouts–not nontheism, not atheism–but ANTI-THEISM. They are dividers and destroyers. They seek your misery, so that they are justified in their own hopelessness.
If I am wrong, no harm, no foul. If you’re wrong, however, well, you will find out when you thought you were supposed to be dead… What if life doesn’t end when you die? Oops. As the quote goes, “I would rather live my life as if there is a GOD and find out there isn’t; than live my life as if there is NO GOD and find out there is.
It always astounds me how people who claim to have no religion fail to see the hypocrisy when they intolerantly bash religion for being intolerant. Anti-theists are the least tolerant people I see in the world today (notwithstanding the noted exception of the Islamic cultists who behead children and bury people alive). The absence of a religion, obviously does nothing to exempt a person from religious bigotry. They are intolerant of other people’s religion because atheism has “evolved” into intolerance toward other people’s religion.
Because I am not a lemming or belonging to the class of “sheeple” [sic] who blindly follow! I have hitched my cart to the most logical casual factor in our library of options. Furthermore, atheists have yet to explain the supernatural phenomenon that is GOD’s wondrous grace.
